This past Saturday we got to attend a truly awesome backyard party in Surrey! Not only were there tacos, but also grilled cheese sandwiches, bouncy castles, prizes and more!
In my last post I mentioned how busy May & June are for our corporate catering clients, and this year was no exception. This May we got out to Maple Ridge, Vancouver, Richmond, UBC, Surrey, Abbotsford and Burnaby for our corporate jobs alone!
This Saturday we were out serving for a lovely summer backyard party in Delta. Like we do at most home catering parties, we tucked ourselves in their driveway and served directly out the food truck window. Yes, you can have food truck catering at your home!
For this party we did beef, chicken and vegetarian tacos, as well as a cooler full of cold Jarritos in a variety of flavours for their group of 40 guests of all ages.
“It was a total success and your taco truck made all the difference. We had so many comments from our friends about the delicious tacos.”
Our recent birthday party client decided that an awesome way to celebrate would be to bring a surprise taco truck to her party, but this time the surprise was for all of her friends!

“Taqueria del Pueblo recently catered our company lunch event and they were excellent - very friendly and professional. They were extremely efficient and got orders for 50+ people within minutes of the orders being placed. The food was delicious and VERY filling. Well worth the money. We will most definitely be getting Shelia and Oz to cater many more events in the future :)”
Taqueria del Pueblo had the pleasure of serving our top-notch Mexican cuisine for a grand opening of a liquor store in the quaint waterfront town of Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver. We maintained our high standards in excellent food and customer service as we celebrated the opening of the store alongside the owner, the employees of the store, and the whole neighborhood.
“Taqueria del Pueblo was one of the best lunch experiences we've had so far. Not only was the food AMAZING but, they were very accommodating to our special needs like arriving 1 hr earlier to set up and figure out the setup situation for our office lunch. They were quick to respond to my emails and I would highly recommend them and probably will order from them again in the future.”
We are great at keeping secrets! Don’t believe us? Ask the birthday guy who had his surprise birthday party last weekend in White Rock and wasn’t aware of anything! We love being the catering service in birthday parties, and we enjoy them, even more, when everything’s a surprise and the birthday boy or girl hasn’t got a clue of what’s going to happen!
Last week we had the fantastic opportunity to be the food truck catering service for an incredible birthday party. The event was hosted at the Landyachtz shop in Vancouver, where we were surrounded by amazing skateboards and great people.
On the 3rd of March we had the privilege of working side by side with other great local vendors for a great cause: helping ACTS in their charity fundraising event to provide a lifetime of clean water to men, women and children in Uganda.
